Author Kathy Price offers a perspective of Dr Martin Luther King JR. for young students. This interactive and lively multi-media assembly illustrates the life of Dr. Martin Luther King with visual concepts of his most famous speech. Dr King’s I Have A Dream speech encourages HARMONY, PEACE and NON-VIOLENCE. Kathy Z Price leads students on an interactive musical educational adventure to discover and bring alive concepts such as dignity, peace and the meaning of freedom.
Kathy also speaks to the importance of reaching for personal dreams. She shares her dream of beng an author, and her dream for the world. She asks students to consider their own dreams—for themselves and for the world.

PUBLISHING-WRITING WORKSHOP FOR STUDENTS-Residency
Kathy presents a 4-6 week literature residency with students culminating in the creation of a class book. Picture books Poetry anthologies, Literary magazines are among the possibilities of workshop. Students also host a reading and book signing
WEBINARS FOR EDUCATOR-AUTHORS
The Saturday Seminars are 60 minute telephone webinars on the third Saturday of the month. Each month focuses on a different Children's Publishing topic. The phone seminars are informative stand-alone sessions that share valuable industry insights to aspiring TEACHER-AUTHORS.
